The ones that would eat vegetarian options if they are healthy, even if they do not taste like meat. We satisfy the laters. In Colombia we thing we still do not have competitors that satisfy the meat flavor so we are all selling to the public that searches for something healthy despite the "meatless" flavor. Some of our competitors localy are: lenteja express, la Senda, Carmencita.. Globally there has been a development in "meaty" vegan patties such as: Beyond Meat, The Impossible... And there are also other healthy grain options such as Hilary´s, little green, SunshineBurger, Dr Praeger´s...

We t¿started in our own kitchens making the patties. We now have a third partie that provide us with the making service and we can focus on getting new costumers. Since the product is refrigerated and the shelf like is no longer than 45 days, it has represented a challenge as for to grow in different cities. We wold like to start selling in department stores and we would like to start in the institutional market as well selling the product to hospitals, schools, restaurants... Now a days the 90% of our sells are B2B. Our gross margin is 58% and our net margin is 19% |

In order to do so, we would need to hire a couple of people to work in these specific areas. We would also need capital to invest in developing new products. Depending on the path we take and the areas we strenghten first, the decision to shortening the growth periods, we would need an amount between US 30.000 and US 70.000 |

For starters, we have a direct impact in our children. As mothers, we are teaching our sons and daughters the importance of responsibility, hard work, and to believe you can achieve everything you want if you put your heart and soul to it. We have a positive impact in our employees even if they are not directly employed by us. The company that provide us with tha making service is a certified B enterprise. They hire people with disabilities and we contribute for the company to be bigger and better with our contract. And we also have a positive impact on our consumers. Our product is so natural that it can help peolple to stay healthy and it might also help for people looking for vegetarian and vegan options so they can complete their protein and fiber intake. |
